First of all, products intended for grilling should be fresh and purchased from a reliable, good shop. For grilling you should choose low fat meat. Do not use newspapers, cardboard, plywood, painted and lacquered wood for kindling fire in a barbeque. Such things can release hazardous substances during grilling. Besides, it could change the taste of grilled products.

The best way is firing up the grill without kindling, oil and paraffin. It is the most difficult way to kindle fire in a barbeque, but then you are certain that the smoke has no harmful substances. Kindling can be applied only at the beginning of firing, when there is not food on the grate. Do not throw dice of kindling during grilling.
