Milk – a great cosmetic

Beautifying effect of milk has been known by women already from ancient times. The baths with milk have been taken by Cleopatra . Milk rich in fat and lactose has great skin caring properties. It gives the skin velvety softness. Thanks to protein it nourishes, smoothes and tones the skin.

Lactic acid gently exfoliates dead cells, and the lactic acid bacteria allows to maintain the pH of the skin. Ordinary milk is often a component of cosmetics for the body, face and hair.  There are also, vitamins A, E and B group. It is often added to the masks and lotions, it prevents skin actinic and clogging of the pores. The milk also protects the skin from damaging effects of the environment as well as UV rays.

Milk is often and ingredient of cosmetics that we use such as coconut milk, soy milk, goat’s milk, donkey milk. Goat milk is in many natural and synthetic cosmetics. Great work on dry and tired skin. Due to the high content of protein and nutrient vitamins: A, B, E, D​​, and triglycerides, fatty acids help to maintain proper pH level of the skin and protect it from bacteria. Goat’s milk contains casein, which provides required and stable moisture level.
