Stains on linen fabrics can be removed by acidified milk. Dip the fabric in it for half an hour. Then rinse and wash in warm water with detergent. Rub lemon against stains on wool fabrics. After treatment, rinse the fabric. If a patch of black berries showed up on silk, dampen a swab with alcohol and gently wipe the stain. The swab has to be clean all the time. Then rinse the fabric in warm water. Stained hands cleaned with lemon juice.
