A stain is created e.g. after putting a wet glass or a leaking pot. Stain removal should start with wiping the furniture dry and then wiping the stain with a cloth soaked in vinegar. This will remove the old shining preparation and restore the color of the wood that was discolored by water. Wait until the wood dries well and then rub in linseed oil or cosmetic petroleum jelly. Start with rubbing the edges of stains, gradually reaching their center. Put a thick layer of petroleum jelly on the entire spot and leave it for several hours. After the expiration polish the stain with a soft cloth. You can pre-heat it, thanks to which petroleum jelly will be absorbed faster.
