Just a few drops of water is enough to make the stain visible. So if you stain silk clothes with water, then you should quickly wipe the stain with a soft cloth, that absorbs water well. Then take a hair dryer and dry it with hot air stream. In this way you will avoid the ugly marks around the spots. Another method is to spray the stain with lemon and wipe it dry. Old water stains on silk can be removed by sprinkling them with lemon juice. Then wash the silk. After that, the spots will be completely gone.
