Older stains are difficult to remove. Stain removal should start with rinsing the material with cold, running water. The next step is to soak it for an hour in cold water with detergent. After this time, wash clothes as recommended by the manufacturer on the label. If the stain is still visible, it is necessary to use a chemical stain remover. Another method is to wash the stained clothes in cold water with salt. Wash the stains in the water with the addition of ammonia or hydrogen peroxide solution.
