Nail polish stains – removal

Stains stemming from nail polish are best removed as soon as they are developed.If the nail polish dripped on your body, use a nail polish remover.

Problems start when it drips on a fabric. Try to remove it with a cotton ball soaked in acetone. Wipe it gently until the stain disappears. Then rinse with purified gasoline. If there are some remaining marks after removed stain, rub them with a cotton swab with hydrogen peroxide.

If the nail polish spilled on the carpet, first collect it before it dries with a paper napkin. The next step is to check the other side of the carpet and if nail polish remover does not discolor the carpet. If not, then use it to wash the stain.
