Soak the cloth in hot water with detergent and wash after an hour. If the slick remains, clean it with petroleum ether. Stain from milk-based ice cream are more persistent and should be cleaned immediately with gasoline. Then sprinkle the stain with talcum powder. After half an hour remove the powder with a brush. If the stain is on the carpet then use the carpet cleaner. If the stain cannot be removed, make a paste of borax and water and rub it into a dirty place. When dry, vacum carefully.
