A process of removing honey stains from fabrics depends on the kind of material the stain formed on. If it is cotton, then rub it with a cotton swab soaked in warm water.

Then wash it with a solution of water containing ammonia or citric acid. For 1 cup of water use 1 teaspoon of ammonia or the acid. For synthetic fabrics rub a cotton swab soaked in hot water. Wool requires cleaning with clean water with washing powder or liquid detergent. Proceed similarly in case of the stain on a natural fabric carpet. If the carpet is made of synthetic fibers use a clean cloth dampened with water to remove the stain.
