If stains are not cleaned regularly, they will soon change into black spots. There are many cleaning products you can buy, some of them are effective, but they also leave chemicals that might be dangerous to people, animals and environment.

Vinegar can be effective for cleaning a water closet. Simply pour the vinegar on the walls of the WC and leave it for around an hour. Vinegar is very good for removing rust and various kinds of stains. It has also bleaching and disinfective properties. To clean the WC you can use a scratching brush or a washer; focus on the water level and the bottom. Then you need to rinse everything and check whether there are still any stains left. If yes, use more vinegar or a substance made from baking soda and water.

You can also use fresh lemon juice, as it can also remove stains and provide a nice odor in the toilet. Baking soda is a cheap and practical means of cleaning the WC effectively. Stains and water sediments on the edges and inside the WC can be removed with a thick mass made from baking soda and water. In order to wash the WC you need to simply immerse a moistened washer in the mass, then rub it into dirty places. If stains are persistent, you need to apply the mass directly on them and leave it for 15 minutes and then try to remove it once more.
