Sunburn occurs in the form of increased redness of skin. Then appears the burning sensation, itching, often blisters after tanning. Skin, instead of being tanned, nicely brown becomes red, irritated, sensitive and blistered.

The best way to prevent sunburn is moderation and common sense while sunbathing. During the first days sunbathing shouldn’t be longer than 10 to 15 minutes. On subsequent days you can slightly increase the time of sunbathing. It is necessary to use protective sunscreen. The skin should be protected with a preparation with filter and it should be put about 30 minutes before leaving the house.

The process of application should be repeated every 2-3 hours. Between 11 – 14 am in the morning, the rays of the sun are the strongest. Therefore, during this period you should stay in the shade. The most serious and most dangerous effect of the sun burns are skin cancer, or melanoma. Once a person has this kind of cancer he or she has almost 90% no chance of recovery. This is the most dangerous of the existing forms of a malicious cancer.
