Marker stains are often caused by children and are difficult to remove.

It is better to just avoid them and make your children be more cautious. To remove such a stain, apply glycerine by gently smearing it on the stain. Then wash it in water with enzyme powder. If the traces of the marker still remain, wipe them with a cotton ball soaked in methylated spirits. The stain should be gone. If not, then repeat the whole procedure again. This time there should be no trace of the stain on the material.
