Removing oil paints and varnish on glass

Posted: January 1st, 2013 | Author: | Stains

After renovation you often get ugly souvenirs in the form of spots of oil paint or varnish on the windows.

If the stain is fresh, you can try to gently scrape off the excess paint. But be careful not to leave scratches on the glass. After scraping the top layer of stains rub the stain with a cloth moistened with petrol.

Stain should be dissolved under the influence of gasoline. Pressing firmly you will rub the stain until it disappears completely. The next step is to wipe the stains with a clean cotton swab dipped in gasoline. Finally wash the entire surface of the window with water and vinegar.
