If there are stains on the white silk, sprinkle them carefully with lemon juice and then wash. In case of dark silk, stains should disappear after washing. If, however, they can still be seen, mix in equal parts water and vinegar and soak a cotton ball in it. Gently rub the cloth. This should remove all the stains. To avoid stains, remember to ventilate silk materials. This will prevent unsightly stains from developing.
