Removing ketchup stains

When our clothes are stained with ketchup, rinse them immediately in cold water.

Then wash traditionally in water with detergent. If the stain still appears on the cloth, then wipe it with a cotton ball soaked in methylated spirits. Then wash the clothes. If the stain is still visible, repeat all the steps again. There should be no trace of the stain now. Otherwise, the fabric can be dipped in 1% borax solution. After about half an hour, wash the clothes in hot water with detergent. The stain will disappear.
