Stains on the wool or linen can be washed with a cotton swab soaked in cold water and denatured alcohol. If a stain is on synthetic fabric, then wash it with pure water without additives. Stain on natural silk should be washed with a cotton swab saturated with 1% solution of borax. After treatment, rinse the fabric with cold water with 3% hydrogen peroxide. Soak older stains in water with borax and then wash them thoroughly. You can also wash the stains from jam with pure spirit.
