How to remove blood stains?

If the blood stain is fresh, rinse it quickly with cold water. After that, the material can be immersed for half an hour or a full hour in cold water with detergent or soap. Then, it can be washed.

Older blood stains on cotton fabrics should be washed in water with sodium hydroxide solution. Blood stain on wool materials should be rinsed with cold water and then you can pour a 5% solution of oxalic acid on the material.
If, after the procedure of removing blood stains, yellow marks remain, it’s easy to remove them with a cotton swab which was dipped in hydrogen peroxide. Gently rub it against the yellow parts. After it dries, there should not be a trace of the marks.
