How to prepare homemade grilled kebab?

The recipe for home-made Egyptian kebab. Ingredients: 500 g of mutton, 1 egg, 1 onion, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 12 champignons, 1 red pepper, 12 white onions, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 teaspoon of thyme, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of pepper.

Mutton may be replaced with beef. Mix the meat with eggs, chopped onion, crushed garlic, and then season everything. Form croquettes 5 cm long and 2 cm thick. Croquettes need to be put on skewers alternately with champignons, onions and paprika slices. Later croquettes should be greased with olive oil and grilled. You can serve them with yogurt sauce.

They taste great with peanut-yogurt dip, French fries with ketchup, mustard, horseradish and bread fried on a grill. Another great side is the salad made of tomatoes, onion, pepper, salt and sour cream. Or green olives, red cabbage, sauerkraut, yellow, green, or red pepper.
