It involves reducing the number of calories consumed per day to 1500, and thus compose the menu for the first week while the next progressively reduce the amount of calories by 200 weekly.

For this reason, this diet is dangerous in use and should be supervised by a doctor, which is quite easy in Hollywood, but more difficult in our circumstances. It is not recommended for people suffering from diseases related to the circulatory system, urinary tract, or because they are very burdened and in effect may be even more difficulties for them. Basis in the diet of Hollywood diet include natural yoghurt, onions, yeast, and sprouts.

Every day patient should eat two fresh pineapples, and it is recommended to drink non-carbonated mineral water, in an amount of at least 2 liters per day. In the first seven days of being on the Hollywood diet we should eat only fresh fruits – pineapple, strawberries, plums, peaches, and raspberries. Subsequent to the introduction of two weeks the diet of vegetables and cereals, and lean meat, as do, for example, may be dairy products such as thin white cheese, and fish.

Things which should be definitely excluded from the diet are: alcohol, coffee and salt. Hollywood diet should be approached with caution due to the fact that it is low in vitamins and minerals, and the amount of energy a day is only 650 calories, its use should always be discussed with your doctor and be under his care.
