Holiday cottage does not simply mean holidays

Holiday homes are mainly associated with the attractive tourist destination and blissful relaxation during your holidays. It turns out, however, that it does not necessarily serve as a seasonal residence, and we live in them permanently, and in some cases, to finance the construction or purchase of the property from the proceeds of the loan.

First of all, be aware of the typical differences between seasonal and year-round home. Especially when it comes to access to the media and appropriate building insulation. The house where we reside throughout the year should also be supported on a permanent foundation, which does not have to meet the requirements of a seasonal home.

While homes are often cheaper to build, then you should take into account the many other costs. The problem can be especially commuting to work, school or shopping. Even if the cottage is situated in an attractive location, unfortunately, we can expect a higher tax rate. We can even make a registration.

Also, banks are not always favorable solutions of this type, although some are willing to give us a loan, you will have to always look at it and consider the location of the property whether it will be adequately protected. As a last resort, you can take advantage of another mortgage loan secured by real estate, but always it will have worse conditions than a typical home loan.
