Diet for pregnant women

Pregnancy is a special time in every woman’s life when there is not only a complete change in her life, but also her body changes dramatically along with growing unborn child.

Of course, the diet changes too, resulting in, for example, that the future father is sent to the store to buy the chocolate and pickles. It is true that a woman expecting a baby have their food cravings, but they must not forget that they do not just eat for two (and sometimes three or four), but also to eat wisely.

There are two things, which should not miss in the future mother’s body – it’s folic acid and iron. It also requires large amounts of vitamins and supplements because the emphasis should be not on worthless products, canned and containing large amounts of empty calories, but also on products such as wholemeal bread, wholemeal pasta, potatoes, vegetables, veal, poultry and fishes.

Meals should be varied in the range of four to six per day, and if the blood test comes necessary, supplemented with different formulations prescribed by your doctor pregnant. For each meal you should eat fruits and vegetables, do not forget about dairy products such as milk, buttermilk, or natural yogurt, but you need to avoid preservatives and different flavors. Although it will be difficult, you need to exercise restraint in eating cakes, chocolate and sweets, because they are completely worthless from the point of the mother and child.
