Can I use vinegar for cleaning?

Vinegar allows a very effective, ecologic and quick way of removing various kinds of dirt, rust or scaling. It is also much cheaper than most cleaning products available stores.

Vinegar has anti-bacterial properties. Thus, it can be used for cleaning the floor, wooden boards and kitchen tops. Vinegar also helps you with removing residues on cutlery and batteries. It makes smooth, stainless steel surfaces shine, as well as taps and showers. Then, you only need to polish the cleaned surface. A big advantage of using vinegar is that you clean basically without brushing, which is especially important when you clean steel elements and ceramics. In order to remove rust and scale, you just need to soak a cotton swab in vinegar and apply it on the scaled surface.

You can also wrap larger elements, like taps, with a cloth soaked in vinegar and then leave it for 2-3 hours and finally rinse it. Vinegar is ecologic and can be used for cleaning fridges and coolers. It is good for fighting microorganisms, dirt and unpleasant odors. It neutralizes foul food odors and helps to remove the first signs of mold. It can also be used for cleaning windows, mirrors and tiles. Ecologic properties of vinegar can also be used for cleaning car accessories, like rugs, upholstery, or even leather sofas and armchairs.

Furniture can be smeared with a mixture of three linseed oil spoons and three spoons of vinegar. Such mixture will be very effective in removing dirt from natural or artificial leather, will prevent cracks or the loss of moisture or flexibility.
